ACTIVE PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS

OF GRAIL MEMBER

I.    Some sharing in policy-making which is expressed by attendance at:

• General Assemblies (currently held every three years)
• National Meetings (currently held every three years)
• Regional Meetings
• Specific Programs designed by Grail members
• Written contributions to one or more of the above (e.g., answering questionnaires, helping with reports, etC.

II.   Participation in a process by which the International dimension of membership has tangible expression:

• Input in International General Assembly issues
• Participation in selecting IGA delegates
• Input in election process for International Teams and work groups
• Active involvement with International visitors, International Teams, and/or International work groups
• Visits to or work at centers in other countries
• Working behind the scenes at International meeting
• 
  

III.  Sharing financial responsibility and gifts in kind for the national movement:

Be willing to:

•   Contribute to the Grail National Fund and other Grail projects on a yearly basis
•   Help build the Grail locally
•   Enter into specific opportunities for community and solidarity in the Grail nationally and internationally
•   Work in some area that makes concrete our mission or furthers the efficiency of the national organization
